Horseradish is used as a general tonic. It stimulates appetite, normalizes the digestive tract, enhances the production of gastric juice, activates metabolism. Horseradish products are used to treat gastritis with low acidity, as well as intestinal atony.
Grated horseradish is added to various sauces. Raw root is sometimes added to vegetable salads and soups, mostly cold. To soften the spiciness, the seasoning is made on sour cream, cream or yogurt.
