Turnip «Samson»
Biennial plant from the cabbage family, turnip. Specially bred by breeders from a fodder variety, it is not only edible, but also very tasty.
This cold-resistant culture is valuable in vitamin C and carbohydrates. Gives a high yield, well preserved during the autumn-winter period. In a short period (40-45 days) it forms a crop, so it can be used as a post-harvest crop.
It can also be used for livestock feed, as it is very productive. Sometimes turnip crops are fed directly on the root: first to cattle (eats the leaves and the aerial part of the roots), then to pigs (they dig up the remains of root crops).
