Tomato «Piennolo del Vesuvio yellow» - an early-ripening variety with bushes 1.5–1.8 m tall. Plants have potato-type leaves. Each cluster forms 7–9 fruits weighing up to 30 grams. At full ripeness, the fruits are rich yellow plum-shaped tomatoes with an elongated pointed tip and two distinct ribs along the fruit. They do not crack or fall off.

The clusters can be cut and transported whole. The variety is highly productive. Fruits are very firm, have excellent keeping quality, and a sweet taste. Long storage is ensured by the very high dry matter content in the fruits, while the dense skin helps preserve them. During storage, tomatoes of this variety do not rot but gradually dry out.
