Nolina «Bottle tree» - this is an unusual perennial plant. It has a straight trunk 50-100 cm high with a thickening at the base and long narrow leaves located around the stem. Easily grown from seeds at soil temperatures around 20ºC. It grows quickly, young plants are replanted annually.

Prefers bright sunny places and elevated air temperatures. The plant is watered as the soil dries. Water getting on the trunk can lead to rotting. Used as a potted indoor plant. In summer, trees can decorate a terrace or balcony, protected from rain.
