Asparagus «Arzhentelska» - is an early ripening variety of asparagus, up to 170 cm high. Young shoots of asparagus, which form in the second year, after transplanting the plants to a permanent place, are used for food. Shoots in the commercially viable phase are 1.5-2 cm in diameter and 20-25 cm long.
Aboveground shoots of asparagus are green-violet in color, underground shoots are white with a pink tip. The pulp is white, tender, of high taste. Asparagus shoots are used for consumption, both fresh and for preservation.
