Red yarrow / Achillea millefolium - is a perennial plant. The plant is light-loving, winter-hardy. Inflorescences numerous terry, collected in corymbs. Grows well in any well-drained soil. It grows in one place for 4-5 years. It is a good honey plant.

They are used to create picturesque arrays and groups, rocky hills, for cutting and winter arrangements.

In folk medicine, common yarrow is used for leucorrhea, malaria, insomnia, urolithiasis, some liver diseases, urinary incontinence, as a wound healing and hemostatic during heavy menstruation.

Sowing seeds for seedlings - at the end of February, planting seedlings in open ground - at the end of April or at the beginning of May. Grows in full sun or partial shade. The flowering period lasts from June to September.
