Hot (bitter) pepper «Chilhuacle negro» - the height of the plant is 60-90 cm. Fruits are cube-shaped, thin-walled with a hollow at the tip, 15-18 grams, unripe - dark green, and ripe - chocolate-colored. It tastes like sweet Bulgarian pepper with a spicy-smoky aftertaste and hints of dried fruit. The sharpness is mild. Pepper is dried and ground into powder.

It is rarely used fresh because of the rough skin, but the problem is easily solved with the help of a blender. Mexicans dry fruits in the open sun, turning them over every 2-3 hours, the process is labor-intensive. Therefore, such a seasoning is an expensive and rare product.
