Basil green dwarf

Annual, thermophilic plant. Fresh and dry leaves are used in cooking, in canning cucumbers and tomatoes as a spicy seasoning. It is sown in a wide-row way after 30-45 cm at a seeding rate of 5-6 kg per 1 ha in well-warmed soil. Harvest at the beginning of flowering. The variety is very decorative. Can be grown in pots and boxes.

Grow on light soils with a high content of humus and a sufficient amount of moisture. It grows well in pots on the windowsill for a long time. Young greens are harvested before flowering.

Basil leaves are used to flavor fish meat dishes, in preservation, in the preparation of salads and side dishes, in dried form they are added to various dishes of vegetables, meat, cheese, to first courses.
