Fodder beetroot «Poltava white» - is a mid-season variety, the duration of the growing season is 120-130 days, compared to drought-resistant, well stored, resistant to diseases. Belongs to the group of typically fodder varieties, diploid, multi-seeded, with 35-45% single-sprouted glomeruli.

The root crop is oval-elongated, oval-conical, cone-shaped. The surface of the root crop is smooth, the aerial part is green or greenish-gray, the rest of the surface is white, the flesh is white, juicy. The root crop is immersed in the soil for 1/2 - 2/3 of the length, it is easily pulled out. With mechanical digging, manual cleaning is required.
