Hot pepper (bitter) «Er Jing Tiao» - capsicum chili pepper - popular in Sichuan cuisine of China. The fruits are elongated-cone-shaped and 10-15 cm long. It has a deep red color and a pronounced aroma, and for this reason it is often used to flavor vegetable oils and salt. It has a spicy-salty flavor that pairs well with pasta and rice. Even a small amount of dry powder from this pepper can give a dish a pronounced peppery flavor.

It is used both as a component of various hot sauces and for eating fresh.
