Grape «Lydia» - grape variety of medium ripening period. Belongs to the Isabelle group. The leaves are large and medium, rounded, slightly dissected, three- or five-lobed, finely bubbling, green, with dense felt pubescence below. The petiolate notch is open, lancet, deep. The flower is bisexual.

Clusters are medium, conical or cylindric, branched, loose. The berries are medium, round, dark red, with a lilac wax coating. The skin is strong. The pulp is slimy with a specific strawberry aroma. Sugar content 18-19%, acidity 5.5-9.3 g/l.

Shoots ripen well both in the southern and more northern regions. Bushes above average growth. Separate bushes of Lydia in wall culture give up to 40 kg of berries or more.
 
It is recommended for landscaping balconies, walls of houses, arbors, alleys and other things. The Lydia grape variety has field resistance to mildew and oidium diseases, which means that it does not need to be treated against these fungal diseases. Frost resistance is much higher than that of European varieties. Phylloxera resistance is negligible.

Lydia responds well to soil fertilization. Tolerates moisture. The variety is sensitive to lime chlorosis. Relatively salt tolerant. Pinching and chasing for the Lydia grape variety is necessary, as the bushes are very thick. When ripe, the attachment of the berry to the stalk weakens. This must be taken into account especially where there are strong winds. It is used for the preparation of dessert, strong wine materials and grape juice.
