Rodenticide «Ratid-1» - is an effective method for exterminating rats and mice based on diphenacin, a second-generation anticoagulant. Contains additives that cause tissue mummification.
Active ingredient: diphenacin 0.015%.
Method of action
When ingested by an animal, this drug slows down blood clotting and also increases the permeability of peripheral blood vessels, as a result, leading to hemorrhages. Ratid-1 has cumulative properties (accumulates in the body), so taking several small doses over a number of days ensures the death of rodents. Due to the delayed action, rats and mice do not recognize the poison in the bait, which increases the effectiveness of the fight against harmful rodents. After eating grain with Ratid-1, rats die within 5-10 days. Ready-made poisoned bait in the form of a bulk grain mixture.
Dosage
Ready-made poisoned bait in the form of a bulk grain mixture. The bait is laid out in 50-150 grams for exterminating rats or 15-50 grams for exterminating mice. The distance between the layout points is 2-15 meters, depending on the number of rodents. It is necessary to ensure the presence of bait in rodent habitats for at least a week. To do this, the decomposed bait is inspected after 1-2 days, replenishing the eaten portions to the original or twice the mass. Portions that remain untouched for more than a week are transferred to other places. Contaminated or damaged bait is replaced with a new one.
Baits are placed in previously identified rodent habitats along walls, partitions, and near burrows. The bait is laid out in dry places under shelters (cabinets, equipment), on hard paper substrates, in adapted containers (bait boxes, trays, boxes) or in special containers. The latter is preferable, because increase the palatability of the product, prevent it from being taken away by rodents, and also complicate access to the bait for non-target animals.
The work continues until the rodents disappear. The bait can be left in places favorable for the habitation and movement of rodents, in order to prevent their possible entry and increase in numbers. In this case, observations of baits must be carried out at least 2 times a month.
When working with the product, do not touch it with unprotected hands, use gloves or a special scoop. The product should be laid out and stored in places inaccessible to children and pets, separately from food products.
