Goldenrod seeds «Canada» or Canadian goldenrod / Solidago canadensis - is a perennial melliferous herbaceous plant of the Aster family (or Compositae) up to 1.5 meters high. Belongs to late summer honey plants - blooms at the end of July. Massively blooms in August and still remains for September. Bees on Canadian goldenrod flowers also collect yellow pollen.
The plant forms a dense bush, abundantly decorated with small golden yellow flowers. Inflorescences-baskets of flowers are small, numerous, collected in a pyramidal panicle 35-40 cm long. Blooms profusely and for a long time in late July - September 40-45 days.
It looks great in mixed flower beds, in the form of thickets near fences, on the north and east sides of buildings, in group plantings. Cut inflorescences of goldenrod are indispensable in autumn bouquets. Great nectar plant!
