Instructions for growing mycelium
The mycelium of the oyster mushroom is grown in two ways - on wood and on plant debris. Let's look at the first method.
Oyster mushrooms are grown in greenhouses and basements, or simply in shady places. For cultivation, they use chocks up to half a meter long, sawn from fresh wood trunks with a diameter of up to 25 cm. In these chocks, recesses with a depth of approximately 4-5 cm and a diameter of up to 2x are made over the entire area in any convenient way.
They put a whisper of mycelium in them and seal them with sawdust and bark - the main thing is to prevent the mycelium from falling out. And in about 2-3 months, the mycelium of the pink oyster mushroom permeates the entire tree. The humidity should be at least 90%; if necessary, spray water.
Now the logs can be buried in the ground, the main thing is that there is no direct sunlight. Once you dig in, don’t forget to water them. Mushrooms planted in this way grow for up to 6 years.
