In traditional medicine, the herb is used for colds, chronic hepatitis, pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus, eczema, psoriasis, trophic ulcers, inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs, diathesis in children, bronchial asthma, pancreatitis in children, alcohol infusion is an antiallergic agent.
Commonly known as three-lobe beggarticks, three-part beggarticks, leafy-bracted beggarticks or trifid bur-marigold.
From the leaves and flowers of the series, paint is made for dyeing silk and woolen fabrics.
