Pumpkin «Gray Volga»

Mid-season variety for open ground, 100-120 days pass from germination to technical ripeness. Plants are long climbing, powerful. Fruits are slightly and medium flattened, slightly segmented or smooth, weighing up to 9 kg. The color of the fruit is light gray without a pattern. The bark is elastic, leathery. The pulp is yellow and creamy, of medium density and sweetness, 4-4.5 cm thick, contains up to 11.5 solids.

Transportability and keeping quality of fruits are good. The variety is drought tolerant. Usage: for storage and all kinds of home cooking. Yield up to 4 kg/m2.

Fruits of rare gray coloring with saturated yellow pulp. Fruits can be stored for several months without loss of commercial qualities. The pulp with a high content of solids and carotene is suitable for all types of processing, including for the preparation of baby and medical food.
