White Indian Datura «Troubadour» or Indian White Datura / Datura innoxia - is a perennial (annual in cultivation) herbaceous plant 70-80 cm high. The stem is erect, reaches 3-4 cm in diameter at the base, branched, densely covered with hairs, has a green or dark purple.

The leaves are alternate, short-petiolate, ovate or oblong-ovate, pointed towards the upper part, entire or slightly notched. The color is bluish-green from the presence of hairs. All parts of the plant give off a foul odor similar to rancid peanut butter when damaged, while many people find the smell of flowers quite pleasant when they bloom at night.

Flowers solitary, white, located at the base of the forks of the stems. The flowers are erect until flowering, after which they bend. The calyx is swollen and ends in the upper part with five, rarely two or three teeth. The fruit is a multi-seeded bluish-green or brown box drooping downwards, four-celled at the base, and two-celled above, densely covered with thin needle-like spikes. When ripe, the box cracks incorrectly or remains closed.

Datura can be grown both as a houseplant and as a garden plant.
