Watermelon «Knyazhich» - refers to early-ripening varieties, technical ripeness occurs at 68-73 days. Guaranteed to obtain a fruit of a spherical shape. Watermelon is distinguished by a rich black-green rind, striped. The crust is quite thin - 1-1.2 cm.

The flesh is very tender, bright crimson in color, extremely juicy, sweet and fragrant. Fruits in the ripening period have an average weight of 4-6 kg.

The variety tolerates drought very well. It is perfectly transported, for which it is very much appreciated. Recommended for cultivation in film greenhouses and open ground. Disease resistant.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.

As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
