Breadseed poppy or opium poppy «Gerlach» / Рapaver somniferum - аn annual herbaceous plant, species of the genus Poppy (Papaver) of the Poppy family (Papaveraceae). 100-120 cm high, slightly branched. Flowers with a diameter of 9-10 cm. A variety whose seeds do not spill out of a poppy box.

Blue seeds. The seeds of this poppy are used in the baking industry, they are sprinkled with buns, cookies, and cakes are prepared. In addition, oil is extracted from them.
