Watermelon «Tulip» - early ripe variety of watermelon. Ripens 70-80 days after germination. The fruits are large, round, weighing 2.7-3.0 kg. The surface of the fruit is smooth, the color is black-green, the pattern is slightly noticeable narrow stripes with a wax coating. The bark is thin, the flesh is red, tender, grainy, very juicy and sweet.

Taste is high. Harvest. It ripens amicably, the marketability of fruits is high. The variety is cold hardy.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.

As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
