Heliopsis rough «Golden balls» / Heliopsis var. scarba - this is a perennial plant with straight, branched, up to 120 cm tall, noticeably woody stems. Baskets 6-7 cm in diameter. Reed flowers are golden yellow, tubular flowers are yellow. Unpretentious honey plant.

The location is sunny, protected from strong winds. Soils prefer fertile, loamy, non-acidic, without stagnant water. Sow in the ground in spring or throughout the summer and early autumn.

Blooms in the second year after sowing. Flowering is long, plentiful, until frost. Good for cutting. Heliopsis seeds germinate best at a temperature of 20 degrees. The division of plants is carried out every 4-6 years.

Sowing seeds into the ground - before winter or in the middle of spring, sowing seeds for seedlings - at the end of February, transplanting seedlings into the ground - from mid-May to early June. Flowering from June for two and a half months.
