Bean seeds «Blauhilda»

Asparagus bean «Blauhilda» - mid-early variety of asparagus beans, which ripens in 65-70 days. It is successfully grown in open ground in different agro-climatic regions of Ukraine. Weaving plant with large leaves and a strong root system. The length of the lashes reaches 3-4 m, so supports will be required to grow the crop. Seeds are planted in the ground after the threat of spring frosts has passed, in a well-lit area with nutritious and loose soil. To increase productivity, it is recommended to organize regular watering of plants and top dressing. The variety is used for joint plantings, hedges and decoration.

Blauhilde asparagus beans have dark purple, fleshy pods, 16-22 cm long. The grains are brown, uniform, moderately sweet. They have excellent taste and high nutritional value. The main purpose is cooking, the variety is perfect for preparing independent dishes, stewing, boiling and freezing for the winter. Both pods in the stage of milky maturity and fully ripened grains are used for food.
