Ipomoea quamoclit «Beauty Star» - this is an annual climbing vine. The leaves are deeply dissected, intensely green in color, adorning thin stems up to 3 m tall. The flowers are regular in shape, small, fiery red in color.

It is grown by sowing seeds in open ground in April-May, after the threat of night frosts has passed. Blooms in June-July. Used for vertical gardening of balconies, gazebos, terraces and garden arches.

Commonly known as cypress vine, cypress vine morning glory, cardinal creeper, cardinal vine, star glory, star of Bethlehem or hummingbird vine.
