Watermelon «Janosik» - this is a medium variety. Vegetation period from germination to technical maturity is 75-90 days. Fruits are round and oval-round in shape, green with light green stripes, weighing 3.5-5 kg. The pulp is yellow in color, crisp, sweet, juicy and fragrant, with a small content of seeds.

The variety is resistant to bad weather conditions and diseases. It is grown in open ground and in film shelters.

The name can be pronounced as Janusik.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.

As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
