Watermelon «Wizard» - the variety is early ripe, from germination to the beginning of fruit ripening 65-70 days. The fruits are rounded, sometimes slightly segmented, the fruit surface is smooth. The background color is green, the pattern is dark green blurred stripes. The bark is of medium thickness (10.0-15.0 mm).

The flesh is bright pink, tender, juicy, sweet. The weight of an average fruit is 5-6 kg. Transportability is good. The fruits contain 11.0-14.0% dry matter, 9.8-12.3% sugars, 9.2 mg% vitamin C.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.

As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
