Watermelon «Arashan» F1 - mid-early (64-68 days from transplanting, 78-80 days from sowing) high quality watermelon. The fruits are elongated, with an average weight of 9-10 (up to 17) kg. The flesh is dark red, crisp, with excellent taste, high sugar content, without fibers. Seeds in fruits are small.

The plant is very powerful, high vigor. The strong walls of the fruit make it possible to transport and store the crop well. Resistant to anthracnose (race 1), fusarium (race 0.1). Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.

As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
