Watermelon «Manchester» F1 - early ripe variety. The ripening period lasts 62-64 days from transplanting seedlings to a permanent place. The plant is powerful, with good vigor, dense foliage and long stems. Forms an ovary even under unfavorable growing conditions, is plastic to care and agricultural technology. It develops more intensively in stable, warm, sunny weather, with the organization of moderate drip irrigation and root feeding. Not susceptible to anthracnose and fusarium.

The fruits are striped, round-oval, quite large. Weight - from 9 to 12 kg. The peel is hard, up to 12 mm thick. The pulp is sweet, juicy, uniform, without fibers and veins. Accumulates enough sugar, a large amount of vitamins and other useful substances. The crop ripens concentratedly, easily separated from the stem and does not lose marketability and taste characteristics for a long time.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.

As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
