Marigold «Champion» / Tagetes patula - аnnual profusely flowering dwarf plant. Up to 20 cm high. Terry red flowers. The diameter of the flowers is 7 cm. It blooms early, in late May - early July and blooms profusely until frost.

Sow seeds for seedlings in March-April. In the open ground - from the second decade of May - in early June. Seedlings appear 5-10 days after sowing. The plant is fast growing. Flowering begins at the end of June and continues until autumn.

Marigolds are unpretentious plants, heat and light-loving, resistant to drought and other adverse weather conditions. Easily put up with partial shade. They prefer to grow on nutritious, well-moistened soils. For the growth of young plants, the optimum temperature is 18-20°C.
