Decorative pumpkin «Ball bicolor» - is a small decorative flat-round pumpkin. The skin is dark green with thin yellow-green stripes. This is a very beautiful decorative pumpkin with a hard shell, which also has a long shelf life.

Because the fruits are quite small and the plant spreads a lot, pumpkins can be used well for vertical gardening or for a pumpkin tunnel.

Decorative pumpkins contain the substance cucurbitacin. This makes these fruits inedible. Cucurbitacin can be recognized by its bitter taste and can cause stomach and intestinal cramps.

Sowing in the greenhouse from the end of April. If the temperature allows, from mid-May you can sow directly into open ground. Make sure that the soil temperature at sowing depth is around 18°C at the time of sowing and the following week, so that the germination process proceeds smoothly and the seeds are not affected by mold and bacteria.
