Rosa rugosa «Alba» / White Japanese Rose - is very popular with landscape architects. Among the reasons for such popularity are excellent health and resistance to most rose diseases and pests, unpretentiousness in care. It is also worth noting the very long flowering of the Japanese rose - from early summer to autumn.

The plant is a densely branched shrub with erect, thorny, thick branches, forming a dense crown of a rounded shape, reaching up to 150-200 centimeters in height and about 185 centimeters in diameter. In favorable conditions, the bush grows, forming dense, impassable thickets. Annual shoots of the plant are herbaceous, pubescent, with a green color, perennial - woody, brown branches. The foliage is large, dark green, wrinkled, up to 20 centimeters long. Yellow in autumn. The flowering period lasts from June to October. It blooms with large, single white flowers, up to 9 centimeters in diameter, with a light aroma, they look spectacular against the background of dark green foliage, they can be single, or located on peduncles of 2-4 pieces.

It can be planted almost anywhere - it will grow anywhere. It will tolerate both poor soil and a windy place and severe frost. We recommend planting in the sun, and for better and lush growth, the soil should be well-drained, moderately fertile. Keep the soil moist until the crown reaches a size sufficient to shade the ground above the roots and prevent drying out. Frost resistance up to -45 ° C.
