Limonium white (statice, kermek, sea-lavender, statice, caspia or marsh-rosemary) / Limonium mill - this is an annual plant. The stems are erect, 60-70 cm high, with branches in the upper part. The flowers are small, up to 1 cm in diameter, white in color, collected in corymbose inflorescences. It is distinguished by abundant flowering from July.
Kermek is unpretentious, drought- and frost-resistant, perennial species winter without shelter. It should be planted in sunny places. It can be grown both through seedlings and direct sowing in open ground in May. In a permanent place, plants are planted at a distance of 20-25 cm from each other.
They look good in mixborders, on flowerbeds for decorating rocky compositions, but in most cases they are used to decorate bouquets, for cutting and as dried flowers.
