Interestingly, unlike those chili, the unripe fruits of which are purple, they do not turn red when ripening and do not change their color, still remaining dark purple and only acquiring a neon shine.

The taste of the fruits has a nutty note, they are a little reminiscent of habanero, but surpass it in pungency.

The plant is over 120 cm tall. The flowers are white with purple markings and a purple core. The fruits are oblong, about 5 cm long and about 2 cm in diameter. The peppers are very hot, aromatic, and barely change color as they ripen, remaining purple.
