Amaranth (pigweed) «Shine» - annual plant. Stems are erect, up to 70-150 cm high. Decorativeness is achieved due to the different colors of the leaves - a combination of green, pink and red. Used mainly for lawn beds, borders and solitaires.

Seeds are sown in April in greenhouses or in open ground directly to a permanent place. At a temperature of 15-18 ° C, shoots appear on the 8-11th day. After germination, the plants are thinned. Grows well in open sunny areas with nutritious soil.
