Armand pine or Chinese white pine / Pinus armandii - a beautiful coniferous tree of the pine family. It is distinguished by a free, asymmetrical crown shape and long, blue-green needles - up to 15 cm, slightly drooping, collected in bunches of five pieces. In terms of beauty and decorativeness, it is not inferior to other types of pine, and even surpasses them.

The nuts are very tasty - not inferior in quality to the nuts of the Siberian and Korean cedar pines! In Europe, it ranks 3rd in popularity in the production of pine nuts.

Flowering cones 4-5 cm, drooping by the time of ripening, 10-20 cm long, yellow-brown, almost cylindrical, resinous.

The bark is thin, smooth, from green to dark brown and reddish.
