Tobacco «American-26» - was bred by the selection laboratory of the Crimean experimental tobacco growing station IV&V “Magarach” using the method of intraspecific hybridization from crossing varieties American 3 × Dyubek new × Dyubek 44 × Trapezond 19, obtaining the first generation in 1991. Refers to productive skeletal-aromatic varieties of medium ripening for the production of skeletal and blended tobacco raw materials. This mid-season tobacco variety is drought-resistant and resistant to leaf scorching, and has improved smoking properties. Used to make cigars and cigarettes.

It has a green leaf color, a cylindrical plant shape with a height of 135-145 cm. The number of days from germination to the readiness of seedlings in greenhouses (cold beds) is 52 days.

Number of days from landing:

• until the leaves of the last break ripen 105 days;
