Salpiglossis - this is an annual plant. The stems are branched, 60-100 cm high. The flowers are large, funnel-shaped, red, purple, brown or bright yellow in color with an original pattern and dark veins on the petals.

It is grown by sowing seeds in open ground in May or through seedlingas in April. Blooms from July to September. Used for decorating flower beds, ridges and for cutting. Cut flowers are well preserved.
