Pumpkin seeds «Turban»

Decorative pumpkin «Turban» - is a fashionable, bright, eye-catching decoration for your garden, which, like ordinary table pumpkins, can be used for food!

Your garden will be decorated not so much by large yellow flowers or light green five-lobed large leaves, but mainly by very decorative small, turban-shaped fruits reminiscent of a Turkish turban. They are used in vertical gardening to decorate fences, gazebos, balconies, and can also be grown on the ground, like ordinary pumpkins.

Dry fruits serve as an excellent decoration for various compositions. For drying, use well-ripened, clean (not diseased) and not frozen fruits. They must be cut with the stalk.

Sowing: germinated seeds are sown in March-April in 7-9 cm pots or peat-humus cubes. The seed placement depth is 3-4 cm. Seeds germinate at temperatures not lower than 15º C. Seedlings are planted in open ground when the threat of frost has passed, maintaining a distance of 20-30 centimeters between plants. Prefers sunny places with fertile, loose soils.

Care: loosening, weeding and timely watering. Responsive to feeding. Needs strong support.

Flowering: from June. The fruits ripen from July until frost.
