Allium «Summer Drummer» / Allium - is a perennial bulbous highly ornamental plant. Differs in spherical inflorescences. Plant height 120-150 cm. Inflorescences are large, consist of many small star-shaped flowers. The color of the inflorescences is purple, diameter is about 15 cm. The leaves are linear, rounded, green. Flowering time May-June.

Alliums bloom for a month and a half, after which the leaves die off, and the plant retires. In no case should you cut off the yellowed leaves, they must dry and die on their own.

Needs full sun and well-drained soils. In landscape design, the use of bows has enormous potential. On alpine slides, decorative bows are indispensable. They look very impressive in group plantings. In flower beds, plant onions among perennials so that after they bloom, perennials can cover dried leaves and stems.

Great for cutting. Their inflorescences stand in a vase for a long time, they are also suitable for winter bouquets (dried flowers). Decorative bows give the garden a special charm. Without them, the bulbous palette in the garden is not considered complete.
