To grow tomatoes, it's important to know which tomato seed variety is right for you. Therefore, before buying seeds, you need to determine a few key points:
- What do you need your crop for: At GARDENSeeds you can order quality seeds for growing vegetables, both for salad varieties (such as cherry varieties) and for canning (for example, tomatoes in the form of cream); if you want to grow tomatoes for further processing (juices and sauces), then give preference to large-fruited varieties;
- under what conditions will tomatoes grow: tomatoes, like other vegetables, can be grown not only in the open field in the country, but also in greenhouses, as well as at home on the windowsill; however, the taste of greenhouse tomatoes is slightly worse than those grown in the open field;
- bush height: there are three types of tomatoes:

- medium height - 100 cm to 180 cm tall;
- stunted - shrubs do not exceed 1 meter.
Tall and medium-sized varieties of tomatoes are suitable for greenhouses, but undersized varieties are ideal for open ground, as well as low greenhouses.
The method of growing vegetables also plays an important role. Some varieties of tomatoes are grown only through seedlings, others - by sowing seeds in open ground.
How to grow tomatoes the right way
Growing tomatoes and then harvesting depends on several factors. Firstly, when sowing seeds or planting seedlings in open ground, it is necessary to take into account the temperature of the soil - it should warm up well. Also, for the good development of plants, the soil must contain nutrients. Therefore, sowing seeds or planting ready seedlings of tomatoes is carried out in the middle of spring in previously prepared soil.
