Early coarse-grained high-yielding pea variety. Differs in high flavoring and technological qualities. Recommended for fresh use, freezing and canning. The growing season from germination to the first harvest is 55-57 days. The shoulder blades are of medium length, have 6-9 seeds. Bean attachment height 33-43 cm.
Grains have excellent taste qualities due to the high content of sugars. Peas are green, small, uniform in size. The stems during flowering are low, later they reach a length of up to 70 cm. The variety is unpretentious to growing conditions, tolerates drought well.
The variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting, due to the friendly formation of the crop. Pea is a cold-resistant and moisture-loving plant. It grows well in humid and cool climates. Seeds germinate already at a temperature of 4-8°C. Young shoots withstand 6-8°C frost.
The optimum temperature for seed germination and plant growth is 18°C. High temperatures have an adverse effect on the development of peas, especially during flowering and pod formation. Pea is a photophilous plant. It does not impose special requirements on the soil, but acidic soils are not suitable for its cultivation.
