Fennel «Zephyr» - is a vegetable spicy-flavoring plant, 55-60 cm high. It forms a root crop with a green rosette of large leaves, reminiscent of dill in appearance, and anise in taste and aroma. The weight of one plant is 180-220 grams.
Fennel begins to be harvested for greens when the plant reaches a height of 20-30 cm. It is used for food in fresh and dried form. The leaves and stems are boiled, stewed, and added as a seasoning for salting and pickling.
