Watermelon «Charleston Gray» - this is a mid-season variety. Vegetation period from germination to technical maturity is 75-95 days. The flesh is crisp, dark red, without veins, very sweet, juicy and aromatic.

The fruits are large, light green in color with dark green veins, oval in shape, weighing 10-12 kg. The grade is appreciated for an original form of fruits, good transportability and excellent productivity.

Watermelon is grown in open ground and greenhouses on light soils. Sowing in open ground is carried out at the end of May. Sowing seedlings - in late April, early May. When the threat of frost has passed, the seedlings are planted in the ground (at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves) according to the scheme 80x200 cm.

As the plants grow, they form into one stem, removing side shoots, and leaving 2-3 ovaries. Further care consists in watering, fertilizing and loosening.
