Сress salad (watercress) «Lace» / Lepidium sativum - is an early ripening and cold-resistant plant that is extremely in demand, it can be grown all year round on the window and in the summer on the balcony. Already after 10-14 days from the appearance of mass seedlings, the variety is ready for harvesting.

It is distinguished by a high content of potassium, calcium, vitamins (C, carotene, rutin, etc.) and is an excellent prophylactic against cancer. The rosette of leaves is semi-raised. The leaf plate is tender, green, with a piquant spicy taste.

In spring and late summer grown outdoors. In winter and early spring, it is grown on a window in bowls on damp cotton wool or other substrate to quickly obtain salad greens and seedlings. On the balconies, the plant is sown from April after 3-5 cm, regularly overseeding as the greenery is harvested, every 2-3 weeks.

Leaves and young shoots are used for salads and side dishes for meat and fish dishes.
